Timo Pyhälä

Timo Pyhälä plays improvised music with double bass. He is the creator and leader of the Impro Festival in Helsinki 2014 – 2015. He is a member of the international impro network. He has been performing with many dancers and made music for theatre and films too. Timo was part of the legendary Viitasaari summer school sessions with John Cage. He is also a sculpturist. His motto - The aesthetics of noise is here to stay.

Hermanni Yli-Tepsa

Hermanni plays Violin. He has been a fixture for many years on the Helsinki free improvisation scene.

Dom Schlienger

I'm a Swiss musician and composer-researcher living in Espoo, Finland, since 2011, after living and working 12 years as a gigging musician in Bristol, UK, and on the festival circuit in the West Country. (Glastonbury, Larmer Tree, Sheep Music, Ashton Court, Bristol Harbour Festival, and many more) Now I'm working as a doctorate researcher at the Centre of Music and Technology at Sibelius Academy, Uniarts Helsinki, researching spatial interactivity in experimental music practices.

Sergio Castrillon

Composer, cellist, improviser, researcher, and Currently, Korvat Auki board member (Helsinki), teaching at Laponia improvisation project (Helsinki), collaborating with multi-artistic projects (Helsinki-Stockholm) and working in arts management networking at Tsonami Bs As festival (Helsinki-Buenos Aires), Aurinko (Helsinki-Bogotá) Interested in sound, performance and any artistic manifestation. Sergio is one of the founding members of FISQ.
